Q. What time should I arrive?
A. We recommend arriving 15 minutes before the start time posted on the website. That will give you time to come in, choose a seat, grab a beer, and prepare to get dirty.
Got hung up and you’re arriving late? No worries, no shame. Grab your beer and grab a seat and we’ll catch you up.
Workshops run for about an hour and a half to two hours, but you’re free to stay after the workshop ends and enjoy the venue with your friends as long as they stay open.
Q. My friend wants to come and watch. Does she need a ticket?
A. When held at facilities that are open to the public, it’s cool with us if your friend wants to chill while you create your masterpiece. Having a date night and want to work on one tree together? Awesome. Only one friend, please. We don’t have enough space for the squad.
NOTE: only one beer, tree, pot, toolset, etc. will be provided per paid ticket.
Q. Can I bring my kids?
A. Unless you scheduled a private event at your own location, 21 and over please.
Unfortunately, our insurance company despises children. Please leave them at home with a responsible adult.
Q. Are refunds available?
A. Once registered and paid, refunds are not available. Rescheduling is available with at least 24 hours notice of the start of your class. You will receive a credit and will be permitted to choose a future workshop to attend.
Any no-shows or cancellations made within 24 hours of the start of a workshop WILL NOT have the opportunity to defer to another workshop.

Q. I’ve killed my poor tree… now what??
A. Plant care can be difficult. That’s why we use bonsai species like jade, schefflera, and ficus that are very forgiving of abuse.
If you’ve got a jade or ficus from our workshop and it dies within three months of our workshop, we’ll give you a new one. It’s that simple.
Dog chewed it? New tree.
Watered it with bleach? New tree.
Left it in the snow? You’re a dummy, but…new tree.
